The first thing I thought when I saw this piece was; "Hmm, that is very reminiscent of Jan Von Holleben's work". As far as I'm concerned that is a great thing, as I do have a fondness for these dream sequence-esque shots.
This piece is perfectly composed and expertly lit. The composition of the woman at the back of the bike gives the entire image a sense of floating - like in the air or under the sea. The colour and style of the bicycle lend themselves perfectly to the image and are very eye-catching.
From a technical and compositional perspective, this shot is utterly perfect. The idea is not an original one by any means, but is so masterfully presented that the originality of the concept (as far as I'm concerned) is of little importance.
I like it! It almost looks like they're at the bottom of a pool because the lighting is fantastic. Great work and certainly innovative. I also love that there is an entire series so we get to look at a different piece of the puzzle with each frame. I'll look forward to seeing more of this series if you plan to do more. It's something you can look at from a distance and see an entirely different perspective than when you look up close so that in itself is quite a unique vision that you've brought to this series of pictures.
